Privacy Policy

This policy explains how NK Collective ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information.
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Last updated: 27/08/2026

Information We Collect:

We collect only what is needed to quote for and deliver work.

Information you give us directly

Name, business name, email address and phone number

Project details, briefs and source material you send us

Billing information such as ABN and business address

Any content you provide for use in a deliverable

Information collected automatically

Website analytics including pages viewed, approximate location and referring site

Technical data such as browser type and device

Sensitive information

Career document work sometimes involves information that is sensitive under the Privacy Act, including employment history, qualifications and in some cases health or disability information relevant to an application.
We collect this only where you supply it for that purpose, use it only to prepare your documents, and delete it on request.

Why we collect it

To prepare quotes and scope work

To produce and deliver the work you have engaged us for

To issue invoices and meet tax and record keeping obligations

To respond to enquiries and provide support

To improve the website and our services

We do not sell personal information. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where necessary to deliver the service and only with:

Service providers that host our website, email, file storage, invoicing and payment processing

Our accountant or bookkeeper, for financial record keeping

Anyone else you direct us to, such as a printer or a platform where work is deployed

Government or law enforcement, where required by law

Some providers store data overseas. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the provider handles information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

How we store and protect it

Files are stored in access controlled Google services

Accounts use strong, unique passwords and multi factor authentication where available

Access is limited to what is needed to complete the work

Client passwords are not requested. Collaborator or delegated access is used instead

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We take reasonable steps but cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep it

Project files and correspondence are kept for seven years to meet Australian tax and record keeping requirements. Source material that is no longer needed is deleted earlier on request, except where we are legally required to retain it.
