Prime Contractors Safety & Compliance Suite
A complete collection of professionally designed safety and compliance documents created for construction, subcontractor and commercial project requirements.

The Brief
Building a complete WHS documentation system
Prime Contractors required a coordinated suite of WHS and site documentation for shop strip out and make good works. The documents needed to support risk assessment, subcontractor management, site monitoring, permits, equipment records, training and ongoing compliance. Because each record serves a different purpose, the challenge was creating practical forms that remained easy to complete while still looking consistent and professional.
Approach
Practical forms built for real site use
Each document was structured around how information is collected on site, with clear project details, checklists, registers, actions, declarations and approval fields. Prime Contractors’ navy, white and gold branding was applied across headings, tables, page accents and document controls to create one recognisable WHS documentation system. Consistent document numbers, versions, review dates, responsible roles and approval fields were also incorporated throughout the suite.
Key Documents
The suite included a detailed project risk assessment and WHS policy, covering hazards, controls, responsibilities and workplace safety requirements. Subcontractor documentation covered pre-engagement checks, on-site monitoring and communication records, creating clear records before and during contractor activity. Additional compliance documents included a hot works permit, equipment maintenance register, electrical test and tag register, CM3 documentation checklist and training log**.
Outcome
A coordinated workplace safety system
Prime Contractors finished the project with a complete WHS and contractor management documentation suite covering activities before, during and after work on site.
Each form remains specific to its purpose while sharing consistent branding, document controls and practical layouts for supervisors, workers and subcontractors.
Frequently asked Questions
Can scattered safety forms be turned into one consistent suite?
Yes. Existing forms, policies and registers can be reorganised into a shared system with consistent branding, document controls and formatting while keeping each document suited to its individual purpose.
Can WHS documents be professionally branded without making them harder to use?
Yes. Branding should be used to improve hierarchy and recognition rather than fill the page with decoration. Clear tables, practical writing space and visible sign off fields remain the priority.
Does professional formatting make a document legally compliant?
No. Design and formatting improve readability, consistency and record-keeping but they do not replace legal or WHS advice. Policies, procedures and technical safety content should be reviewed and approved by the business and an appropriately qualified professional where required.
