Accessibility Statement

NK Collective is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disability.

Standard we aim for

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) and used across Australian government digital services.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML structure with correct heading order and landmark regions

  • Text and background colours tested for contrast against WCAG AA thresholds

  • All functionality reachable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators

  • Alternative text on images that carry meaning

  • Form fields with associated labels

  • Layout that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide

  • Text that can be resized to 200 per cent without loss of content

  • Reduced motion respected for anyone who has set that preference

  • Descriptive link text rather than "click here"
     

Known limitations

We are honest about where we fall short.

  • Some older portfolio images may not yet have complete alternative text. This is being worked through

  • Downloadable PDF examples of client work are not always fully tagged for screen readers, because they are reproductions of client deliverables

  • Third party embedded content, where used, is subject to that provider's own accessibility
     

Accessibility in the work we produce

Accessibility is available as part of the work we deliver for clients, including colour contrast checking, heading structure, alternative text and tagged PDFs. It is quoted as part of scope. If accessibility compliance matters for your project, say so at the enquiry stage so it is built in rather than retrofitted.
