PROJECT OVERVIEW
Turning technical product information into polished sales collateral
NK Collective worked with Coastal Lifts to develop a suite of product brochures for its residential lift range, including the Coastal Lifts Ascend, SmartRise and Vista.
The collateral needed to do more than simply display specifications. Each brochure had to help potential customers understand how the lifts would work within their home, what features were available and what made each model different.
The result was a growing suite of branded product material combining technical information, lifestyle focused presentation and detailed product imagery.
THE BRIEF
The priority was to create product brochures that felt professional and premium while remaining easy for homeowners to understand.
Residential lifts can involve a large amount of technical information including dimensions, installation requirements, load capacity, safety systems, door configurations, finishes and operating specifications.
Rather than presenting this information as dense technical documentation, the brochures needed to guide customers through the products visually and explain the information in a much more approachable way.
Consistency across the Coastal Lifts brand was also important. Each product required its own brochure and content while still feeling like part of the same product family.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
A complete suite of residential lift product collateral
The project included brochure and product collateral development across several Coastal Lifts residential lift models.
For the Coastal Lifts Ascend, the collateral covered the overall product introduction, key benefits, integrated safety features, customer focused selling points, custom finishes, platform options and flexible door configurations.
The SmartRise brochure presented the compact residential lift solution with key selling points including space requirements, installation considerations, technical parameters, available colours, safety features and door opening configurations.
The Vista collateral included product imagery, safety components, technical parameters, access configurations and information relating to the lift's installation and operation.
Detailed product information was organised into clear sections supported by large imagery, diagrams, specification tables and feature callouts.
The brochures also incorporated Coastal Lifts contact details and QR codes linking customers to its Facebook, Instagram and TikTok channels.
THE APPROACH
Making detailed product information easier to understand
Because the brochures needed to communicate both lifestyle benefits and technical information, the layouts were designed around clear visual hierarchy.
Large residential interior imagery was used to help customers visualise how the lifts could integrate into a modern home.
Technical specifications were separated into structured tables rather than being buried within large sections of text.
Safety features, finishes, door configurations and other product options were supported with visual examples wherever possible so customers could quickly understand the differences between available choices.
The Coastal Lifts aqua, orange, grey and white brand palette was carried consistently throughout the collateral while allowing each product to retain its own presentation.
The design system also created enough flexibility for future product information and additional brochures to be developed without losing consistency across the brand.
THE OUTCOME
A stronger and more consistent product presentation
Coastal Lifts was left with a professional suite of residential lift brochures that could support customer enquiries, product discussions and ongoing marketing.
Detailed product information was transformed into material that was easier to navigate and more visually engaging while still retaining the technical information customers may need when comparing options.
The finished collateral gives Coastal Lifts a consistent way to present its growing residential lift range across different products, installation requirements and customer needs.
It also created a reusable visual direction that can continue to be applied as new products, finishes and technical information are introduced.
PROJECT FAQs
What did NK Collective create for Coastal Lifts?
NK Collective created a suite of professionally designed residential lift brochures and product marketing materials for Coastal Lifts. The project included dedicated collateral for the Coastal Lifts Ascend, SmartRise and Vista models, covering product features, safety information, technical specifications, custom finishes, door configurations and installation options.
Can NK Collective create technical product brochures that are still easy for customers to understand?
Yes. Technical information can be transformed into clear, visually structured marketing collateral without losing the important product details. For Coastal Lifts, specifications, safety features and installation requirements were organised alongside product imagery and key selling points so homeowners could understand both the practical and lifestyle benefits of each lift.
Can product brochures be designed as a consistent range for multiple products?
Yes. Multiple brochures can share the same overall brand style while still giving each product its own information, imagery and selling points. This creates a professional and consistent suite of sales collateral that can be used across customer enquiries, product discussions and marketing.
