Project Overview
GAZE Studios needed an online platform that felt more like a creative gallery than a standard online shop. The website needed to showcase individual artworks, introduce the artists behind them and provide customers with a straightforward way to browse and purchase prints online.
The finished site combines a clean, editorial layout with strong artwork led visuals while keeping the shopping experience simple and easy to navigate.

The Approach
The design was kept deliberately minimal so the artwork remained the focus. Rather than competing with the products, the website uses generous white space, simple navigation and large visual areas to create a gallery style feel.
The store structure was then built around making it easy for visitors to discover artwork, explore the artists represented by GAZE Studios and move directly into purchasing. Gelato was integrated behind the storefront to create a more streamlined print on demand fulfilment process.
The Outcome
The finished website gives GAZE Studios a dedicated branded home for its artists and products rather than relying solely on third party marketplaces.
It provides the business with a scalable eCommerce platform where new artists, prints and collections can continue to be added while maintaining a consistent customer experience across desktop and mobile.
Built for an easier online store
A key part of the project was creating an eCommerce setup that could continue to grow without becoming difficult for the client to manage. Products and artwork were organised within Squarespace so new pieces, artists and collections could be added over time, while the Gelato integration helped connect the online storefront with print on demand fulfilment behind the scenes.
This meant GAZE Studios could maintain its own branded customer experience rather than directing buyers to a third party marketplace, while still reducing the amount of manual handling required for individual print orders. The result was a website that worked both as a visual portfolio for the artists and as a practical sales platform for the business.
